PJ Personnel are working with one of Ireland’s leading Building Contractors, with operations throughout Ireland and the UK. We are currently recruiting for a Senior Quality Engineer to be based in their Dublin office.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a prestigious main contractor and work with like-minded people on award winning multi-million-euro projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuous reporting to the Quality & Environmental Manager on-site performances.
  • Ensure project standards, Quality objectives, and the integrated management system procedures are applied consistently,
  • Auditing and review of the Company management systems, Inception, planning, design, drafting, monitoring, measuring key performers on-site.
  • Planning quality initiatives and improvements.
  • Champion technical continuous improvement in line with industry standards and best practices.
  • Drive company vision implementation.
  • Ensure project Environmental requirements are being achieved and implemented on-site.
  • Analyse Company data, prepare and distribute reports.
  • Liaise with the Senior Management team during internal audits and continuous improvements to the QMS.
  • Monitoring of ISO documents, procedures, and forms.
  • Staff awareness and provision of best practice information.
  • Review and suggested improvements to department procedures and associated work recording templates.
  • Carry out annual performance development assessments.
  • Manage poor performance and non-conformances.
  • Monitor and report on departmental objectives and targets in line with the organizational strategy.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the Construction Industry in Ireland or the UK is essential for this role.
  • Construction related 3rd level qualification
  • A full understanding of quality management systems
  • Experience of ISO9001:2015, IS014001 2015.
  • Experience of BC(A)R processes.
  • Experience operating digital platforms (i.e., Autodesk Construction Cloud)
  • Experience with continuous improvement techniques
  • Control quality non-conformance management – investigation/ root cause/ preventative actions
  • Manage change control
  • Strong cross-functional Communication and Leadership skills.
